World’s Largest ClockPosted: November 29, 2011
In doing some (relevant) research today I came across Ceremonial Resolution 6-419, dated November 19, 1985. This resolution is in honor of the dedication of the world’s largest clock, which happens to be located at 1850 K St, NW.
A few pertinent details: 1. the clock was designed by John Safer, 2. the clock is “a three dimensional hanging sculpture in the shape of a sunburst,” and 3. (my favorite because you know I like cheese) the clock is called the “International Timepiece.”
Question: is it still the world’s largest clock?
